AUSTIN, TX-Computer Sciences Corp. has released Exceed, which it describes as a comprehensive software system for the P&C/general insurance industry. The solution is designed to help large insurers reduce costs, improve service and react to market changes, CSC says. Exceed integrates all areas of the enterprise, including policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, commissions, work management, documents, image archive and business intelligence. It also includes tools to help business users with product building, rating and work management, reducing the burden on insurers' technical resources, CSC claims. Insurers can use Exceed's components independently to extend and enhance the life of their legacy systems or as an integrated upgrade of their systems, says CSC.
