I&T Launches Conference Series

Learn best practices in customer-centricity, insurance standards.

Customers expect the same convenience they experience at Amazon.com in all of their online and offline transactions, including insurance. Faced with high expectations, insurers are quickly working to reach, and even exceed, customer expectations. But how can executives learn about the latest best practices?

At Insurance & Technology's new 2002 Leadership Forums series, executives will discuss real-life challenges to some of the industry's most pressing concerns, including customer service and standards. Leveraging off of the recent success of Insurance & Technology's Executive Summit 2001, which took place last month, top executives will combine education and networking with high-quality strategic content at the Leadership Forums.

The first Leadership Forum will focus on Customer Service. The Customer Service Forum will take place Tuesday, April 23, at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. At the event, executives will discuss real-life insurance customer service success stories, as well as topics including the challenges of self-service, channel integration challenges and Web-based service and sales.

The second Forum, the Insurance Standards Forum, will take place in September in New York City and will be co-produced with ACORD (Pearl River, NY), the insurance industry's non-profit standards developer. Executives will discuss topics such as XML best practices, global standards, ACORD standard updates and STP.
