Northwestern Mutual Launches Redesigned Web Site

Northwestern Mutual (Milwaukee, Wisc.) has relaunched its Web site, www.northwesternmutual.com, designed to simplify navigation to enable consumers to easily find the information they seek in pursuit of attaining financial security, according to a Northwestern Mutual press release.

"This new Web site design will help people find guidance to address their unique financial needs," says Conrad York, vice president, marketing, Northwestern Mutual. "The enhanced design strengthens our ability to help address the changing needs of our clients, complementing the role that Northwestern Mutual financial representatives have been performing for more than 150 years."

The new version of the site includes a "rich Internet" life event application that gives guidance to consumers on financial products and services that address changing life circumstances.

"People want to know what they should be considering when they get married, start a family or hit any of life's major milestones," York comments. "While a relationship with a financial professional is the ideal way to identify and address their financial needs, the life event application is a great tool for people looking to take that first step."
