CHICAGO--Cambridge Integrated Services Group introduced the Cambridge Performance Value Index (CPVI)-an applied set of standards that allow companies to measure the performance of property and casualty claims administrators. The CPVI was developed based on the principles of Six Sigma, a set of six delineated categories, including program satisfaction, best claim practices, cost of risk, operational effectiveness, loss mitigation and capital management. CPVI will be marketed to insurance providers and self-insured Fortune 500 companies.

POLICY ADMINISTRATION INSURITY

HARTFORD--Insurity Inc. announced that its policy administration platform now provides support for the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002 mandates. Insurity has taken a multi-phase approach to delivering this functionality, providing a way for Commercial Intellisys users to manage their calculation processes and reporting requirements. The Commercial Intellisys platform provides commercial P&C policy rating, issuance and statistical coding for all lines of business. First-phase implementations included support for premium entry, forms and statistical coding. Second-phase implementations will reflect changing ISO rating methodologies to be filed for all lines of business, pursuant to the latest information to be published by AIR Worldwide Corp., which will include nuclear, biological and/or chemical exposures.
