ProspX Announces Microsoft Outlook Integration

Prospx has announced that its enterprise search and collaboration solution for commercial insurers can now be directly accessed from Microsoft Outlook.

Austin, Texas-based ProspX announced on Tuesday that it has integrated its enterprise search and collaboration solution for commercial insurers with the Microsoft's Outlook e-mail application.

The integrated solution, ProspX DirectConnect for Microsoft Outlook, aims to allow carriers to more easily collaborate with brokers on new or renewal insurance business opportunities without workflow interruptions, according to a pres release. The solution enables users to track, organize, archive and report on conversations and information exchanged for specific business opportunities

"Our integration with Microsoft Outlook means users have access to the critical ProspX business functions required by their organizations from wherever they are most comfortable working, thereby improving productivity," Puru Agrawal, executive vice president of products and CTO for ProspX, said in the release. "This enhancement is one more way we remove the user adoption barrier, enabling organizations to be more proactive in the sales process while tapping into the collective brainpower of their network through collaboration."
