StoneRiver (Oakland, Calif.) has made available Customer Stream, a browser-based solution for P&C insurers to manage information about the individuals and companies a carrier does business with, such as claimants, agents, and body repair shops, according to a StoneRiver news release. The solution's functionality includes duplicate checking, importing, and address functionality. It features segmentation, privacy and security to assist carriers in meeting regulations surrounding the the sensitivity of some of the information processed, according to StoneRiver.
The Customer Stream solution also offers structures and services that support processes for creating and maintaining an accurate, complete master data set of customer information that can be synchronized with the carrier's other internal systems, the StoneRiver release reports.
Customer Stream is a component system of the integrated StoneRiver Stream solution, which the vendor says helps carriers become leaner, faster and smarter as they perform core business processing. Customer services are also provided across other StoneRiver Stream component applications, such as the Billing Stream system.
"The Customer solution is one of a number of components within our Stream product that help a carrier become smarter about who its clients are and how they want to do business with the insurer," comments Rodney Griffin, senior vice president, product management, StoneRiver Insurance Solutions.
