SugarCRM Incorporates Experian QAS Address Verification

QAS for SugarCRM aims to reduce operational costs associated with inaccurate customer address data.

SugarCRM (Cupertino, Calif.), an open source CRM provider, has incorporated Boston-based Experian QAS’ address verification tools into its system.

QAS for SugarCRM verifies and standardizes prospect and customer addresses in real time. Major goals of the integration are to allow for more effective communications, improve demographic profiling capabilities, follow up in a timely manner for sales and marketing initiatives and reduce operational costs from returned mail.

As new or updated addresses are submitted, the Experian QAS verification engine is invoked. This process either corrects the address or prompts the SugarCRM user for clarification.

“Experian QAS [will] help SugarCRM users eliminate costly shipping and mailing errors, but they also can become more strategic in routing leads as well as more exact in servicing prospects and customers while in the field,” says Clint Oram, vice president of products and co-founder of SugarCRM.
