Teradata, CoreLogic Partner for Geospatial Services
Dayton, Ohio-based Teradata and Santa Ana, Calif.-based CoreLogic have joined forces for a geospatial platform.
Geospatial natural hazard analytics data from CoreLogic are delivered on a Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance platform, which is optimized to house and analyze business data, historical policy data and other key components, the companies explain in a statement. This, they add, consolidates disparate spatial analytical environments into an integrated enterprise environment, helping insurers reduce the cost of enterprise implementation and maintenance, accelerate business processes and deliver vital intelligence to front-line users.
"We look forward to providing our customers with a consistent view of geospatial data that addresses the business problems associated with risk, regulatory compliance and revenue generation," Scott Little, VP of CoreLogic Spatial Solutions, says in a statement. "Our highly accurate parcel-based geocoding technologies and multi-hazard analytics, combined with Teradata technologies, can provide a game-changing strategy for pricing premiums accurately by assessing, classifying and valuing policies correctly."
