SAN ANTONIO-TPS Systems has launched TPS/NetWork File Manager (NFM), a solution to ease the network management of data delivery and retrieval in the B2B environment. TPS/NFM manages the transmission of data from a source location to a target location using NetView-like transmission plans. The transfer mechanism is managed through a central server with file distribution taking place on a server-to-client or peer-to-peer basis without passing through a repository on the server, thus easing traffic. Through the use of transmission plans, file transfers may be controlled and monitored at the most cost-effective times.
