Delos Insurance Group Names Alex Hammett SVP, Chief Actuary

New York-based program insurance specialist Delos Insurance Group has named Alex A. Hammett senior vice president and chief actuary. Hammet will be responsible for all actuarial functions within the Group and will report directly to Delos Insurance Group president and CEO Bill Davis.

Over a decade-and-a-half career Hammett has held a variety of pricing and reserving roles for all major lines, according to a Delos Insurance Group press release. He most recently served a six-year term as senior vice president with specialty lines P&C carrier Arch Insurance (New York), where he led an effort to build the insurer's corporate actuarial department and enterprise risk management modeling framework. Prior to Arch, Hammett worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and CIGNA.
