Dennis Sullivan Named Chairman and CEO of Nolan
The Robert E. Nolan Company (Dallas) has named Dennis Sullivan Chairman and CEO. A 28-year veteran of the international consulting firm, Sullivan has an extensive background in management systems and performance measurement, according to a Nolan source. His areas of specialization include operations improvement, quality, process design, organizational design, and strategic planning.
"Dennis has played a vital role in evolving our services to meet the changing needs of our clients, and we are fortunate to have him leading our firm," comments Nolan executive director Ben DiSylvester. "With this appointment, Dennis will expand his leadership of the firm's strategic growth initiatives. Dennis will continue to manage key industry relationships as well as continue as Nolan's walking encyclopedia of sports knowledge and analogies."

During his career with Nolan, Sullivan has worked with many insurance and healthcare organizations, focusing on improving business performance, according to the Nolan source. Clients include Nationwide Insurance (Columbus, Ohio), New York Life (New York), WellPoint (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), Unum (Chattanooga, Tenn.), Prudential (Newark, N.J.) and Swiss Re America (New York). He holds a BS in industrial engineering and an MBA in business from the University of Rhode Island, according to a Nolan news release.
