Dentegra Insurance Deploys Oracle Insurance Revenue Management and Billing
Dentegra Insurance, a San Francisco-based carrier that offers dental insurance to individuals, has deployed Oracle Insurance Revenue Management and Billing to support enrollment and billing.
Dentegra has implemented the Oracle solution to deliver what a vendor statement describes as efficient and enhanced billing experiences to customers, and to provide customer service representatives with access to the timely information needed to responded to customer inquiries quickly and accurately.

Oracle describes Oracle Insurance Revenue Management and Billing as a rules-based, modern billing, payment and collections system that will enable Dentegra to provide more flexible service and billing plans to individual and small group customers, enhancing the dental insurer's ability to compete while improving back-office process efficiency.
Oracle Insurance Revenue Management and Billing Framework supports extension of the functionality for the complete policy billing lifecycle, including enrollment, renewal, termination, reinstatement, overage dependent termination, claims hold processing and re-enrollment, according to the vendor, and integrates "virtually seamlessly" with Dentegra’s Web site, online sales and enrollment portal, claims management system and financial management system, the Oracle statement asserts.
Oracle reports that Deployment of the application has enabled Dentegra to: - Accelerate policy enrollment
- Automatically transmit enrollment information to a downstream claims system, ultimately reducing the need to rekey information and streamlining processes
