Great-West Life & Annuity Co. signs agreement with 401Kexchange; www.iTrust.com, has been launched by Federated Department Stores; "Any business with a Web site or computer network faces potential liabilities associated with the 'Big Three' of technology, according to president of The St. Paul Companies' global technology underwriting group.

Employee benefits provider Great-West Life & Annuity Co. (Greenwood Village, CO) has signed an agreement to use 401Kexchange's 401(k) service provider ratings and online proposal services. 401kExchange will provide its Web-based research services that connect financial planners shopping for 401(k) retirement plans with Great-West's qualified plan products and services.

www.iTrust.com, an online financial products and services portal, has been launched by Federated Department Stores—which operates more than 340 retail stores, including Macy's. iTrust's strategic partners include Ameritrade, PFN Investment Management, eHealthInsurance, FDS Bank, NetBank and Pivot.

At a recent St. Paul Companies-sponsored seminar to educate insurance agents and brokers about e-commerce and technology risks, the carrier's president of global technology underwriting group.
