Esurance Puts RepairView on Mobile Site
San Francisco-based Esurance has added its RepairView service to its mobile website.
Previously, policyholders who wanted to check in with their cars' repair status via mobile had to use the carrier's iPhone app.
To use RepairView, customers who have a claim must have their car repaired at an Esurance-approved E-Star facility. The service allows customers to access and e-mail repair photos; e-mail and call the repair shop directly; and get a projected completion date.
"Our aim is to provide a seamless online experience for customers with offerings that leverage the best of the internet," Esurance CMO John Swigart says in a statement.
