JOHN GOTTA PROMOTION

John H. Gotta has been named chief executive officer of Lincoln Financial Group's (Philadelphia) life and annuity businesses, following the combination of the business units. Gotta served as chief executive officer of Lincoln's life operation from 1999.

AUDIT CHIEF NAMED

Indianapolis-based Anthem, Inc., named Randall Lewis senior vice president of audit and process improvement and chief compliance officer.

ZURICH NA CMO

Zurich North America (Schaumburg, IL) has appointed Craig Fundum chief marketing officer. Fundum most recently served as CEO of Zurich's strategic partnerships business unit.

TEACHERS NAMES SCOTT

TIAA-CREF (New York) has appointed Linda E. Scott director, corporate governance. She most recently served as director of investor affairs for the New York State Common Retirement Fund (Albany).

AXA Vice Chair

Former Merrill Lynch executive Robert J. McCann was elected vice chairman and director of distribution and marketing, AXA Financial, Inc. (New York).

AQS APPOINTMENTS

Adding to its leadership team, Heartland, WI-based AQS appointed Conrad Garvey to be vice president of sales; Eric Lien has been hired as director of marketing; and Susan Ruedlinger has been appointed vice president of finance.
