Zurich North America (Schaumburg, Ill.) has appointed Donna Galer executive vice president, office of the CEO. Zurich has also named Kate Creswell to the newly created position of vice president and manager of organizational innovation at Zurich North America small business, and David Young as vice president of strategy for middle markets.

AMERISURE ACTUARY

Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co. has appointed Ted Wagner vice president and chief actuary.

ONEBEACON CEO

Holding company White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd., has elected OneBeacon Insurance Group (Boston) president John Cavoores to the role of chief executive officer of the carrier. Cavoores will continue as president. Chuck Chokel, OneBeacon's chief administrative officer, will be moving to White Mountains Capital as a managing director.

NEW CHUBB CFO

Michael O'Reilly has been elected vice chairman and chief financial officer of The Chubb Corp. (Warren, N.J.). O'Reilly was executive vice president and chief investment officer.

FIRST AM VP NAMED

First American Title Insurance Co. named Robert Schott regional vice president for Southern California. Schott Joined First American in 1999 as chief operating officer for the company's national default title services division.
