Selective Promotions

Branchville, N.J.-based Selective Insurance Group named Kerry Guthrie EVP and chief investment officer of Selective Insurance Group and Selective Insurance. Guthrie had been SVP and chief investment officer. The carrier also promoted former VP Anthony G. Martella Jr. to SVP of its actuarial reserving department.

NYL LTC Head

New York Life (New York) named Janett C. Greenberg senior vice president of its Austin, Texas-based long-term care department. Greenberg formerly served as principal of Greenberg Associates.

Camilion Names VP

Camilion Solutions promoted Rob Tyrie to vice president, services. Tyrie, who joined Camilion in August 2004 as director, special projects, will lead the vendor's professional services team.

New SunGard SVP

SunGard Insurance Systems (Miami) promoted J.P. James to senior vice president, group insurance and pension systems. James joined the vendor in mid-2003 as SVP, sales and marketing.

Humana Sales Appointment

James E. Schlottman was named VP of commercial group sales for Humana Health Benefit Plan of Louisiana. He will be responsible for new sales, account management, sales administration and retention of Humana's customers.
