ASCENDANTONE EXEC

AscendantOne, Inc (Nashua, NH), a front-office P&C solutions provider, has named William Hunt vice president, national accounts. Hunt joins AscendantOne from Insurequote Systems/Channelpoint, Inc., where he was vice president of sales and marketing.

PAHL HEADS E-NABLE

Teresa L. Pahl, named 2000 Woman of the Year by the Association of Professional Insurance Women, and former president and CEO of AON Enterprise Insurance Services, Inc., was named chief executive of e-Nable Corp. (Westwood, MA).

ACORD PICKS CHUMBLEY

ACORD (Pearl River, NY) has appointed Lloyd Chumbley program manager of life standards. Chumbley will be responsible for ACORD's life insurance initiatives, as well as overseeing the design and maintenance of the standards program. Previously, Chumbley served as CTO for Insurance Technologies.

FLYNN JOINS SAPIENT

John Flynn, former head of Business Edge Solutions' Insurance Practice, has joined Sapient (Cambridge, MA) to lead the insurance practice. Before joining Business Edge, Flynn spent 13 years at AIG.

CONFIRMNET NAMES CEO

Mark E. Oemecke has been named CEO of ConfirmNet Corp. (San Diego), a B2B application service provider. Previously, Oemecke was senior vice president/chief administrative officer at LPL Financial Services, an independent securities broker/dealer.
