AON TAPS DAVIS

Aon Corp. (Chicago) named Deems Davis CIO for Combined Specialty Corp., the planned spin-off of Aon's underwriting operations. Most recently, Davis was COO for Goodshark Enterprises; prior to that he was CIO of Fireman's Fund Insurance.

SCHMELTZER PROMOTED

Fiserv, Inc. (Brookfield, WI), promoted Dean C. Schmeltzer to group president, marketing and sales, from executive vice president, marketing and sales. Schmeltzer will also serve on the company's executive committee.

WELLPOINT PROMOTES 4

Four former RightChoice Managed Care officers were named by WellPoint Health Networks (Thousand Oaks, CA) to lead its new St. Louis-based Central Region. John O'Rourke, former chairman/ CEO, was named president. Sandra Van Trease, former senior EVP, will be president of the UNICARE unit. Stuart Campbell, formerly CFO, was named president of BCBS of Missouri. David Ott will continue as president of HealthLink, a former subsidiary.

SENGEN NAMES MATSON

Erik Matson, a 20-year veteran of the technology industry, will head Mt. Laurel, NJ-based Sengen's E-Insurance Solutions Group as vice president and general manager.

OYOLA JOINS STG

Sergio Oyola has joined New York-based Systems Task Group International Ltd. as senior vice president of the Insurance Division.
