Citizens-Hanover Regional President
The Citizens and Hanover Insurance Companies named John Robinson president of its Midwest region. Robinson was most recently president and CEO of Liberty Mutual's (Boston) Regional Agency Markets Montgomery Insurance (Sandy Spring, Md.).
Ruiz GEICO Tech VP
Washington, D.C.-based GEICO promoted Tama Ruiz to VP of information systems. Ruiz was formerly AVP of applications and maintenance for GEICO's underwriting systems.
Saporito Joins IB
Patricia Saporito joined New York-based Information Builders as insurance industry practice manager. Saporito was insurance industry director at NCR Corp. (New York) subsidiary Teradata.
SAP Hires Hughes
SAP America (Newtown Square, Pa.) named Jim Hughes SVP, financial services, for North America, including SAP's U.S. and Canadian operations for the banking and insurance industries. Prior to joining SAP, Hughes was VP and GM for financial services at Siebel Systems.
Sheinheit Now EVP
MetLife has promoted Steve Sheinheit to executive vice president. While maintaining his role as CIO, Sheinheit now also will be responsible for MetLife's global sourcing and its enterprisewide Travelers project integration management office and transition services.
