Farmers Taps Yahoo Vet to Lead Digital Strategy
Farmers Insurance has named Patrizio Spagnoletto its new head of digital strategy.
Spagnoletto is responsible for defining and executing on an enterprise-wide digital strategy and will oversee all consumer-facing web capabilities, including mobile. He last was VP of global marketing services for Yahoo, where he managed media buying, social and CRM and marketed the company's digital advertising products.
"Farmers customers value the advice our agents provide and want enhanced online capabilities and access. We believe Patrizio is the right person to improve our digital platform and further integrate our agents and our digital platform with our agents at the center," said Michael Linton, Enterprise CMO for Farmers, in a statement.
"The opportunity at Farmers is unlimited. I look forward to working with such a talented group to ensure our digital strategy puts Farmers at the center of innovation to deliver consumers the best experience," Spagnoletto added in the statement.
