First Wright & Percy Insurance Client Deploys Private-Label Benefitfocus Platform
The City of Baker (La.) School District has rolled out a version of Benefitfocus' (Charleston, S.C.) Platform and HR InTouch Application privately labeled N-Roll for Baton Rouge, La.-based Wright & Percy Insurance.
Wright & Percy is the school district's employee benefits provider. Before Benefitfocus, all benefits administration was done by paper, backing up both the district and the carrier.
N-Roll, a Web-based portal for benefits management and enrollment, allows Baker Schools' HR staff to administer their entire benefits program electronically. Taking paper out of the equation is leading to cost savings already, a statement says.
For enrollment, employees can complete benefit elections at their own pace and are able to compare plans side-by-side. Data and personal information are stored in off-site servers.
"The HR InTouch portal gives our clients an opportunity to personalize benefits enrollment for their employees," Amy Underwood, VP of Wright & Percy's employer solutions division, says in a statement. "HR administrators can post useful documents, notes or videos on specific screens within the enrollment process, which makes the experience even more user-friendly."
