Florida Blue Appoints SVP and CFO

Charles Divita has been with the company since 2011.

Florida Blue, based in in Jacksonville, has announced the appointment of Charles Divita III as SVP and CFO, effective in January. Divita will report to Chairman and CEO Patrick J. Geraghty.

"Since joining the company in 2011, Chuck has provided outstanding leadership in our finance and corporate development organizations," says Geraghty. "He has been critical to diversifying the health solutions we offer to help people and communities achieve better health."

Previous experiences include CFO at FPIC Insurance Group, positions at Employers Mutual and Arthur Andersen, LLP, a Chicago-based accounting firm.

Divita also serves on the Board of Directors at Florida Blue Foundation, Availity, LLC, OptaComp Insurance Company, Diversified Services Options and Teach for America. Other services include the Finance Committee

Florida Blue is a Blue Cross and Blue Shield company with 4 million healthcare member, 15.5 million people in 16 states.
