Geico Adds Two Execs to IT Department
Chevy Chase, Md.-based Geico has announced four staff moves, including two new assistant vice presidents in its IT department.
Steve Ostrosky, who had been an IT director for the company, will head a new development organization in the division, responsible for converting all applications and infrastructure to a new platform.
Steve Smith is responsible for the Internet business unit and the sales, service, and claim applications in division. He will also lead the mobile application development effort.
Meanwhile, Neal Craig comes aboard as internal auditor, GEICO’s chief audit executive. His responsibilities will include IT auditing, as well as financial and operational auditing. He will also be responsible for the investigation and special audits divisions.
Finally, the company named Terry Perkins assistant vice president of real estate and facilities management, responsible for corporate real estate acquisition and management, corporate fleet, travel, flight, purchasing, supply, warehousing, printing, freight and mail.
Geico named Mike Campbell SVP and CFO last year.
