Genelco has been serving the life, health and annuity insurance industry for 35 years and counts more than 200 life, health and annuity insurers as customers of its policy administration system. But as a division of IBM, Genelco is taking advantage of IBM technologies such as JAVA and WebSphere to provide new products and technologies that will replace an insurers� existing legacy policy administration systems with a single platform. The Genelco solutions ports existing legacy data to the new platform, rendering existing legacy systems obsolete. Michael Molinar and David Litschgi of Genelco promise to take advantage of IBM capabilities and products such as rules engines to help insurers drive new business, increase margins and be more productive.
