Getting Results on Standards
When push comes to shove, what really works in terms of standards implementation? An objective analysis of this challenge will be offered by Matthew Josefowicz, Senior Analyst, Celent Communications, at the upcoming Insurance Standards Leadership Forum, "Business Strategies for Industry Transformation," taking place September 18, 2002, at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.
Co-produced by ACORD and Insurance & Technology, the Insurance Standards Leadership Forum is a one-day educational/networking event that is focused on real-world solutions, best practices and successful implementation of industry standards. Additionally, attendees will be able to review leading-edge technology solutions from sponsors including Microsoft, Blaze Advisor from HNC, CSC, SAP and Sun Microsystems.
"Reality Check: What It Takes To Achieve Standards Success" is the theme of the presentation of Celent's Josefowicz. He is part of a roster of industry-leading speakers that also includes James Williams, CIO, Royal & SunAlliance, Chris Milton, VP, AIG Reinsurance Division and Daniel Schutzer, VP, Citigroup Inc. The three executives will participate on a panel addressing "Collaboration Within the Industry To Ensure Success."
Kevin Kelly, Managing Director-Financial Services, Microsoft, will be part of a panel on "Web ServicesUnlocking the Potential." Tying everything together will be ACORD's CEO Gregory A. Maciag, plus VPs Ron Dudley and Denise Garth, addressing the challenge of "Where Do We Go From Here?"
Additionally, a series of Line-of-Business Workshops will enable attendees from the Life/Annuities, P&C (Personal and Commercial Lines) and Reinsurance segments to figure out strategies for meeting standards implementation strategies.
