Grange Goes Live on DRC’s DecisionMaker Rating Analyzer
Grange Insurance (Columbus, Ohio) has successfully implemented Decision Research Corporation's (DRC) DecisionMaker Rating Analyzer (DM Analyzer) for the carrier's commercial automobile business, according to a DRC source.
Having gone live on DM Analyzer, Grange is able to answer what-if questions relating to its commercial auto rate management, according to Honolulu-based DRC. The solution enables Grange to study the impact of rate changes, not only with regard to in-force business, but also how new rates would compare to those of the competition. With the depth of rating impact knowledge provided by DM Analyzer, Grange is able to fine-tune rates to offer more competitive and profitable business, the vendor claims.
"DRC's DecisionMaker Rating Analyzer helps us mitigate risk by clarifying the impact of planned rate changes prior to promoting our plans," says Scott Drab, commercial lines product manager Grange. "With the Analyzer tool we are even more confident about our pricing, better positioned to serve our customers and prepared to conquer the challenges of today's tough market."
Grange is now poised to begin setting up its next line of business on DM Analyzer, the DRC source notes, adding that DecisionMaker Rating Analyzer is a module in the DecisionMaker Rating Enterprise solution.
