Guardian Introduces Online Enrollment for New Enrollees
New York-based Guardian Life Insurance Company of America now allows new enrollees to use its online benefits enrollment service.
The service, which was released on the company's Guardian Anytime Web site a little more than a year ago, was previously only available for existing customers.
"It's not only important to Guardian to keep in step with trends, but to make the benefits experience equal parts easy, informative and engaging. People are inundated with information and by ensuring benefits decision-making is simple, everyone – employers and their employees – ultimately get the most out of offerings," Elena Wu, group marketing and worksite officer for Guardian, says in a statement.
The company launched Life and Disability Insurance Explorer, which it describes as a new online educational tool to assist people in determining their insurance coverage needs through four simple questions, earlier this month. Its goal with that site is to help guide employers and employees through the post-healthcare reform benefits enrollment process, it says.
