Guild Insurance Selects Thunderhead For Delivery of Customer Communications

Thunderhead NOW will allow Guild Insurance to centralize corporate identities and customer information to simplify the process of creating documents and policies while improving the usability of documents for its customers.

Guild Insurance (Sydney, Australia), provider of general insurance services to niche Australian markets such as the allied healthcare and childcare sectors, has selected the Thunderhead NOW platform to streamline the creation and delivery of customer communications across the insurer's client portfolio.

Prior to using Thunderhead NOW, Guild Insurance relied on a number of disparate legacy systems to maintain customer communications across its different brands, according to a Thunderhead statement. Important communications, including complex insurance policies, needed to be tailored heavily through a time-intensive manual process before they were ready to be sent to customers, the vendor says.

Thunderhead NOW will allow Guild Insurance to centralize corporate identities and customer information to simplify the process of creating documents and policies while improving the usability of documents for its customers, according to the Thunderhead statement.

Guild Insurance chose Thunderhead NOW because of its user-led system that enables Guild Insurance's business users to build and run the system without taxing the resources of its IT department, according to Thunderhead. The company also chose Thunderhead NOW due to its seamless integration with its recently implemented Guidewire ClaimCenter system, and its legacy policy system, Insure90.

"We are excited to be working with Thunderhead on our new customer communications system," comments Karen Symes, CIO, Guild Insurance. "Our early evaluation of the system indicates significant savings in time, labour and costs and an expected improvement in document quality for customers. We expect to see real benefits shortly after implementation."
