Health-e-Web Acquires Electronic Translation and Transmittals
Health-e-Web, a Helena, Mont.-based provider of revenue cycle management services, has acquired Mesa, Ariz.-based Electronic Translation and Transmittals, which operates an electronic medical claims transactions clearinghouse.
"Our goal is to reduce health care costs by promoting the adoption and use of revenue cycle management solutions, including electronic health care transactions," Bob Janicek, president and CEO of Health-e-Web, says in a statement. "The combined companies will deliver a suite of cutting-edge revenue cycle management solutions nationally, packaged with industry leading customer service.”
Health-e-Web, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana, helps insurance carriers generate, translate, and process electronic health care transactions to support HIPAA compliance, the company says. Besides BCBS Montana, it has a partnership with another insurance company, New West Health Services.
