Health Net Brings App to Android
Los Angeles-based Health Net has released its customer service app through the Android Market for users of smartphones equipped with the Google OS. The company first made the app available last month for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users.
“We continue expanding the usefulness of our mobile offerings by planning apps for other platforms and working to introduce mobile chat capabilities with customer service representatives in the near future,” Juanell Hefner, chief customer services officer for Health Net, says in a statement.
The app includes access to health plan details such as ID numbers, effective dates, deductible and copayment levels and schedule of benefits information; information on health care providers who contract with Health Net; mobile versions of ID cards for all covered family members; and a help center with frequently asked questions.
