Horace Mann Gets New CEO from The Hanover
Marita Zuraitis, president of The Hanover's property and casualty companies, will leave that post effective May 10 to become president and chief executive officer of Horace Mann Educators Corporation.
Horace Mann, based in Springfield, Ill., calls itself the "largest national multiline insurance company focusing on educators' financial needs," providing auto and homeowners insurance, retirement annuities and life insurance.
Zuraitis leaves The Hanover after nine years, the company announced today.

Eppinger, chief executive officer at The Hanover, in a statement. With her help, we have positioned The Hanover as a leading national company with international capabilities. We wish her the very best in her new endeavors."
