Hyland Unveils OnBase OnLine Express

Westlake, Ohio-based Hyland Software has announced that it will release OnBase OnLine Express, a software as a service (SaaS) version of its enterprise content management (ECM) solution. The OnLine Express version will be made available with the release of OnBase 9.0, which is scheduled for later this year, according to a press release.

Hyland says that the solution was developed in response to the insurance industry's goals and corresponding budgets. "Insurers need technology that fits their business strategy -- and their shrinking IT budgets," Jason King, director of financial services and insurance solutions for Hyland Software said in a press release. "We developed OnBase OnLine Express so insurers, no matter their size, can operate more efficiently and ultimately provide better customer service. Because it's deployed as a SaaS solution, it's up and running quickly without a lot of work from the IT staff, allowing for an immediate return on investment."
