ImageRight 5.1 Designed to Enhance Content Access and Workflow
Vertafore has released version 5.1 of its ImageRight content management and workflow software, which the vendor says expands content access and improves workflow by better integrating with mission-critical applications and technologies, such as Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint.
With the new release, users will be able to access or add content and work tasks in outlook without having to log into the ImageRight desktop, according to a Vertafore source. ImageRight 5.1 also includes a Web software development kit (SDK) that enables users to integrate aspects of the solution into SharePoint or other Web-based portals, further streamlining the workflow process, according to Vertafore.
Other updates to the solution include the ability to sign documents digitally in image format and authenticate content using the public key infrastructure (PKI) within the ImageRight repository; XML templates in universal imports to define the import process; new redaction capabilities; and the ability to assign tasks by groups or individual roles.
