Columbia, Md.-Dakota Imaging has released Transform 7.0, a document imaging, data capture and transaction processing software. Key features of the product include enhancements in security, enabling health insurers to comply with HIPAA. The new release includes security-related enhancements to manage and control access to data processed and stored in the Transform system. Although designed for health care customers, all companies requiring security in their document processing and management solutions can benefit from these enhancements, claims Dakota Imaging. In addition, Transform 7.0 includes upgrades to its image processing and Transform IQ Server-based OCR/ICR technology. Transform 7.0 increases document pass-through rates, reduces manual verification, and reduces forms processing costs, according to Dakota Imaging.
