Indiana Farm Bureau Chooses Thunderhead for Customer Communication Management
Indiana Farm Bureau (Indianapolis) has selected Thunderhead NOW as part of a system modernization initiative. Use of Thunderhead's (Irvine, Calif.) solution is expected to result in greater efficiency and customer satisfaction through better system integration, improved personalization and multi-channel delivery, according to a Thunderhead news release.
Indiana Farm Bureau has chosen Thunderhead NOW over its existing Oracle Documerge solution due to NOW's XML-based design and support for service-oriented architecture, the Thunderhead source claims, saying that this factor will enable rapid and flexible integration with the company's existing infrastructure, including its Exceed policy administration system. Thunderhead's support for ACORD (Pearl River, N.Y.) insurance industry standards was also a key differentiator in the carrier's decision-making, according to the vendor.
The carrier will look to use the Thunderhead NOW Context Engine to improve future campaign management, the Thunderhead source continues. The NOW Context Engine stores a complete history of Thunderhead-generated customer communications in what the vendor characterizes as a highly scalable XML repository that can be used to inform future messages. This will enable the company to dynamically produce more sophisticated and relevant communications to boost customer satisfaction and retention, the vendor says.
