Insurance Corporation of British Columbia Selects Duck Creek Rating
The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC; North Vancouver, B.C.) has licensed Duck Creek Technologies' (Bolivar, Mo.) rating platform.
Duck Creek Rating will help ICBC improve its flexibility and speed to market for new products and rating changes to respond more quickly to customer needs, the company hopes.
"We wanted to make sure that we chose the right business partner for ICBC and our customers, considering costs, technology, and the culture of the company we would be working with,” Kellee Irwin, VP of underwriting for ICBC, says in a statement.
ICBC provides universal auto insurance in British Columbia. It is also responsible for driver licensing, vehicle licensing and registration.
