GAIC Selects i-flex/Castek
Great American Insurance Company has selected i-flex solutions' (Mumbai/Toronto) Castek Insure3 policy product as its policy and customer system of record, and to provide a new generation of flexible tools to enhance efficiency and improve profitability, according to i-flex. The contract is a follow-up on i-flex's success with Tokio Marine, announced last year. "This win at GAIC is a perfect validation of our strategy with Castek to address the complex requirements of the Insurance industry. We are quite pleased to repeat our success that we commenced with Tokio Marine and we are confident of making a significant difference in this industry with our modern architecture, and integrated approach," said Preeti Das, head of i-flex solutions' insurance practice. GAIC's senior vice president and CIO Piyush Singh commented that, "Our vision of being a service-oriented architecture driven enterprise necessitates the acquisition of flexible software that can be integrated with our front-end development and other best-of-breed software components." He characterized the Insure3 solution as one "that is built to support rapid innovation and change, backed by a team of professional and knowledgeable personnel, all focused on our business success."
