Kansas City Blue Plan Implements Colibrium's Tuo Underwriting

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Missouri) has launched Colibrium Partners' (Atlanta) Tuo Underwriting to automate its individual and small group underwriting processes, providing the health insurer with real-time approval, paperless automated processing and integration, according to a Colibrium news release.

The launch is part of an enterprise-wide sales, marketing and underwriting automation strategy that will leverage the Tuo product suite and Microsoft Dynamics, according to the Colibrium rlease.' Tuo Underwriting will enable Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City to expand and change underwriting methodologies quickly, without costly development efforts, the vendor claims.''
