Key Risk Appoints New CIO
Key Risk, a workers compensation insurance company based in Greensboro, N.C., has appointed Laura Dezarn as CIO and VP. Dezarn’s responsibilities include aligning information technology, communication networks and computer systems with organizational goals, according to a release. She last worked as a senior IT manager for Kay Chemical.

Dezarn will also focus on supporting some resource applications available from Key Risk, like MasterKey Connects, a risk management platform. Dezarn has a background in strategic information management, business analytics and project management.
