Khosropur to Lead Claims at Narragansett Bay

22-year insurance veteran Bob Khosropur has joined Narragansett Bay Insurance Company's (NBIC) leadership team, after being named the Pawtucket, R.I.-based carrier's chief claims officer. Khosropur will work with vice president of claims Paul Liberty and other NBIC executives to streamline the insurer's claims process.

According to a press release, Khosropur previously served as vice president of claims at White Plains, N.Y.-based Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), where he worked to build a claims organization from the ground up, a task that included the implementation of a claims processing system, hiring and training of claims staff and establishment of agreements with vendors to provide claims service.

Prior to his work at PURE, Khosropur held several management positions at Allstate (Northbrook, Ill.). He graduated from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vt. and has served as a member of both the advisory board for the Institute of Insurance and Risk Management and the Nevada Insurance Council.
