Legal & General Picks Duck Creek for Underwriting, Billing
Legal & General, a London-based financial services company, will use Bolivar, Mo.-based Duck Creek's underwriting and billing system in its general insurance business.
The company's goal is to gain more sophisticated pricing and to respond more quickly to business demands to offer a broader product range. Duck Creek's system, which will allow all Legal & General’s business partners and customers to access details of their general insurance coverage online, should be implemented by the second quarter of this year.
"The advancement of our technological capability is fundamental to achieve our aim of continued long term profitable growth," Geoff Howard, strategy director for Legal & General’s general insurance business, says in a statement.
