Lexmark Unveils 9 New Devices
Lexmark International, a Lexington, Ky.-based laser printer manufacturer, has introduced nine new monochrome laser multifunction products (MFPs) intended for small and medium workgroups. Lexmark says that the nine products -- the X264dn and those in the X360 Series and X460 Series -- aim to pack high-levels of productivity into compact devices.
X460 Series devices, according to a press release, are small enough to fit on a desktop and feature customizable e-Task color touch screens that offer access to features such as two-sided scanning, advanced copying and user authentication for enhanced security. An optional Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework allows small and medium workgroups of roughly three to ten people to access the same customizable or industry-specific solutions used by larger workgroups to streamline paper-base processes.
Lexmark's X264dn and X360 Series devices, meanwhile, feature an intuitive operator panel and up to 1200x1200 dpi print quality, as well as 24-bit color CCD scanners. A 50-sheet automatic document feeder allows users to scan two-sided documents.
Additionally, 802.11n wireless models of the X460 and X360 Series devices are available. All models also come standard with built-in two-sided printing capabilities to reduce paper waste and Eco-Mode and Quiet Mode to save energy and reduce noise.
