Liberty Mutual Group Benefits Provides Mobile App to Manage Absence
Boston-based Liberty Mutual's Group Benefits division has released the MyLibertyMobile application, which is available to employees of group insurance customers.
The major selling point of the app is the ability for employees to report absences through their smartphone, but Liberty Mutual says more capabilities are coming.

"We have made a strategic commitment and a substantial investment to deliver technology tools that address employers’ needs in today’s mobile environment," says Liberty Mutual Group Benefits COO Jean Scarrow, in a statement. "The mobile applications we’re building make it easier for employees to manage their benefits, while expanding ways for employers to manage absence and return to work. The ultimate goal is to deliver convenience and flexibility to employers and employees.”
