Life Carrier Aioi Nissay Dowa Uses LexisNexis to Enter Personal Lines Market
Tokyo-based Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company has implemented LexisNexis' Policy Decisions Personal, Billing Decisions and Reporting Decisions to facilitate its expansion into the personal lines market with its New York-based American division.
Aioi already uses LexisNexis data and analytics offerings for its other lines, which include commercial property, general liability and workers compensation insurance, the company said.
“Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance wanted a vendor that could accelerate our time to market in order to achieve a significant return on investment,” Martin Umezu, president and CEO of Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of America, says in a statement. “LexisNexis committed an enormous amount of time and energy to ensure a successful implementation within a quick six-month turnaround. In addition, we were excited by the broader hosted solutions offered by LexisNexis, which allows us to maximize our relationships.”
Policy Decisions Personal is a web-based platform that feature self-service quoting and purchasing, and delivers real-time policy transaction processing to provide carriers with real-time access to current policy data across distribution channels, according to LexisNexis.
