As part of a deal crafted to provide favorable service for LIMRA International's (Windsor, Conn.) global insurance and financial services members -- including pricing discounts -- the organization will endorse Insurance Technologies' (Colorado Springs, Colo.) illustration software services, including ForeSight, a multi-channel point of sale software solution that supports products that include life, health, annuities, mutual funds, critical illness, disability and long-term care insurance. LIMRA International is an association providing research, consulting and other services to nearly 850 insurance companies and financial services companies in more than 60 countries.
"Insurance Technologies has a really broad range of illustration software that applies to lots of insurance products, which is fitting because our member companies market lots of different insurance products to policyholders," says Howard Drescher, spokesman for LIMRA. The organization decided to make Insurance Technologies its exclusive provider of illustration software services after identifying the need for this type of solution for its members.
"After a need is identified by LIMRA, the organization consults with member companies," explains Drescher. "So the choices selected reflect the needs of our members." LIMRA plans on getting word out about the Insurance Technologies partnership by posting information on its Web site, issuing news releases and providing the vendor with space at its conferences, in addition to various cooperative marketing opportunities, relates Drescher.
