Manitoba Public Insurance Goes Live with FINEOS Claims

The Canadian auto insurer says the implementation was completed on time and within budget.

Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI; Winnipeg, Manitoba), an auto carrier, has implemented Dublin-based FINEOS' Web-based FINEOS Claims platform to manage its personal injury claims.

Two hundred employees at MPI will use the software, according to a company statement. The implementation was completed on time and within budget as well, it adds.

“Improving efficiencies in claims processing underpins MPI’s strategy to maintain and improve the highest levels of claimant satisfaction for Manitobans,” Dan Guimond, VP of strategy and information and CIO for MPI, says in a statement. "The smooth implementation has validated our selection of FINEOS as the best core claims system we could find in the market."

FINEOS Claims will deliver improved operational efficiency by increasing straight-through processing, automating the resolution of tasks, and reducing manually intensive processes, the companies claim. It also introduces advanced case management capabilities, which should help due to the number of third parties usually involved in bodily injury claims, the statement continues.
