Mitchell Updates RepairCenter with FastPhoto Manager
San Diego, Calif.-based vendor Mitchell International has added FastPhoto Manager to its RepairCenter suite.
FastPhoto uses barcode technology to help capture, sort and access collision-related photographs for Mitchell users, which are most in the property-and-casualty and collision repair sectors, the company says. The system also can help collision repairers write estimates more accurately, it continues.
“We can take hundreds of photos of the car and instantly sort them into the correct repair order or estimate,” says Steve Kick, owner of Avalon Collision Centers in Southern California, a FastPhoto Manager launch client.
Collision centers’ insurance partners, customers and parts suppliers benefit from the streamlined approach, Mitchell claims.
“With so many new features and enhanced functionality in the new platform, shops can substantially speed up the vehicle photo documentation process," says Jesse Herrera, SVP of product management and marketing for Mitchell International.
