New Aite Analyst to Cover P&C Industry

Pat Speer brings over ten years of experience to a role focused issues affecting senior executives within the property/casualty insurance sector.

Aite Group has announced that Pat Speer has joined the analyst firm’s insurance practice to cover the business, technology, and regulatory issues of concern to senior officers and other stakeholders within the property/casualty insurance sector.

Speer has over a decade of experience within insurance industry and her broader experience includes 10 years of business-to-business communications, involving studying and reporting on software systems and senior management issues that apply to companies of all sizes across a variety of vertical markets.

Speer is an active volunteer with the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA), and has served as a judge for IASA’s Technology Achievement Award. At the insurance industry’s technology standards body ACORD Speer served on an educational advisory committee that supported the curriculum chosen for the annual ACORD LOMA Forum.

Prior to joining Aite Group, Ms. Speer served as editor-in-chief of Insurance Networking News and held leadership positions in a number of trade publishing organizations. In her early career, she worked at the agent level at State Farm Insurance, and as a claims processor at Aetna.
