New Celtic HealthyTexas Site Features Online Quoting

The site also allows employers to apply for coverage online or by downloading an application.

By Nathan Golia Celtic Insurance, a Chicago-based health insurance carrier, has launched a new Web site for its Celtic HealthyTexas unit, headquartered in Austin, Texas. HealthyTexas is a joint public/private program meant to offer affordable health insurance to businesses in the state with two to 50 employees. The new site for Celtic's contributions to the plan allows employers or agents to get a rate quote, and either apply online or download an application to be mailed. The site also delineates eligibility guidelines and features downloadable benefit summaries and provider directories. It also has an online tutorial to educate employers about Celtic and HealthyTexas. "Celtic HealthyTexas plans offer qualifying Texas small business owners and their employees an affordable solution for comprehensive health insurance coverage," Frederick Manning, Celtic president and CEO, says in a statement. "To help ensure the success of this new program, it is important to achieve our visitors' goals for fast quotes, easy navigation and straightforward plan explanations."
